Customer Reviews The 4gb xbox is great if your not into hard core gaming or want to use the system to store your videos or music. The point of this xbox is to allow people to afford multiple units. Also this system is priced to allow people to use kinect without spending a fortune. I'm more into using the system for gaming but since it actually has less than 3gbs of memory I attached my external hard drive. Although its a 250 gb hard drive, each port only allows for 16gbs. This is still more than enough for me. I suggest buying you xbox elsewhere though; I got mine from Walmart, w two games (Mass Effect 2 and Modern Warfare 2), 3 months online, 1600 Microsoft points, for 249.99. Shop around and enjoy you xbox! It's a lot better than a PS3, haha. Overall though its a great system. I still have the other xbox, it gets the red ring about every other day but still come back to life after a minute or two. they have made huge improvements over the old 360

Although the Sony Playstation has been making gaming systems and video games long before Microsoft has, especially on non-computer gaming devices, many people will choose to play the Xbox360 over any other device that tries to compare to it. For Starters the Xbox360 may require users to pay a monthly fee, of 7 dollars a month, to play online with other users. While Playstation, on the other hand, allows users to play online with each other for free. So why are there "38 million users on Playstation Network and 20 million on Xbox Live" (Joysiq, 2010) when the Playstation Network is FREE? The problem with free services is the quality of the service that is being provided, such as the Playstation Network online servers. Not only does the Xbox360 have dedicated servers, which are faster, more reliable and run smoother than non dedicated servers but there are Xbox Live features that Playstation does not have. One of the features ONLY available on Xbox is known as the Xbox Live party chat. "An Xbox LIVE party chat allows up to seven people to communicate, by voice, online while you all do other activities, like watching movies, playing games, or just chatting". I do not think there are any other reasons of why you should purchase a xbox360 over a PS3!
